  • When uploading a track to , the following rules apply:

    1. Tracks uploaded to your account must be your own, or with explicit permission from all involved authors.
    Stealing or plagiarising another user's track is forbidden, including (but not limited to):
    • Uploading without permission from the author
    • Re-uploading a track that is not yours from another page (e.g. from TMUF-X to TMO-X)
    • Remixing/using major parts of another user's track without permission

    2. Uploading tracks that cannot be finished is forbidden[1], including (but not limited to):
    • Missing finish line or multilap block
    • Requiring cheats to reach any of the checkpoints and/or finish line
    • Requiring tool-assisted speedrun (TAS) tools to complete the track[2]
    • Non-validated (no author time)
    • Other environment, blocks and/or vehicle than Snow, Desert or Rally

    3. Uploading tracks without a set starting position is forbidden, including (but not limited to):
    • Missing start or multilap block
    • Hex edited fake start or multilap block without having a set starting position

    4. Author times that are unachievable by humans are forbidden, including (but not limited to):
    • Using cheats to set an impossible time
    • Hex editing an impossible time
    • Using TAS tools to set an inhuman time
    • Impossible to achieve medals (author time is slower than other medal times)

    5. Tracks and/or track pages containing inappropriate or illegal content are forbidden, including (but not limited to):
    • Profanity
    • Adult content
    • Links to illegal materials, such as software or music
    • Malicious software

    6. Users are strongly encouraged to only use track screenshots that present the track itself. Users who consistently upload irrelevant or nonsensical screenshots may be subject to disciplinary action. Screenshots displaying inappropriate or illegal content are forbidden, including (but not limited to):
    • Profanity
    • Adult content

    7. Uploading tracks for the purpose of impersonating or harassing another user is forbidden, including (but not limited to):
    • Blatantly copying another user's TrackMania login
    • TrackMania nicknames, logins, track file names, etc. that insult another user
    • Drawing abusive messages using track blocks
    • Using mediatracker for harassment

    8. Uploading tracks that purposely crash the game is forbidden, including (but not limited to):
    • Track overloaded with blocks/cc
    • Code execution

  • #2 · Cases classified as legal & Scope of the rules
  • To settle frequent inquiries, the following specific cases are classified legal:

    • Using in-game editor bugs (e.g. block-mix, clip removal, void)
    • Hex editing and block-mixing tools (e.g. RixMix)
    • Environment-mixing (e.g. Desert car on Snow environment)
    • Custom blocks[3]
    • Remixing Nadeo tracks (e.g. reverse, checkpoint-less, practice tracks)
    • Track screenshots not showing a clear view of the track



    Scope of the rules:

    At , we're committed to maintaining a fair and enjoyable environment for all our users. If you notice someone breaking one of our rules, please let us know by clicking the "Report Track" button in the top-right corner of the track information table. We enforce the rules as follows:

    • The rules apply effective immediately.
    • The rules will be applied retrospectively on tracks uploaded prior to this rule set on a case by case basis.
    • In minor incidents, we may simply remove the track and give the user a warning.
    • In severe cases, the user may face a temporary or permanent ban.
    • We take all reports seriously and will take the necessary actions to maintain a friendly and welcoming community.

  • 1. Incomplete tracks are allowed in the Beta Area.
    2. 'TAS-only' tracks are allowed in the Beta Area.
    3. Use of custom blocks must be disclosed in the Author Comments section with both instructions and a download link for the specific blocks.
