Hi guys

When I bought TrackMania, I was very disappointed to find that instead of a jewel case (standard CD case) all I got was a paper slip with the serial number stickered on. I thought to myself, "I paid $80 for this game! And all I get is a paper slip which I will probably lose", and sure enough, I lost it. Now how am I supposed to get the serial number again?! I have not uninstalled TrackMania but I want to get my computer reformatted, so is there any way I can get the serial number again?

Its worth running regedit and doing a search on Trackmania...

Mine has a number which looks about right in Nadeo > TrackMaina > Keys

I found nothing like this...

do you mean the internet-Key or the really the serial-key?

because, I bought the german version, I need no Serial!

but I know, how to get the internet-key (if you registered):

open the "Default.SystemConfig.Gbx" in the Trackmania Folder with the editor.
now you will see a list!
somewhere on this list, there is your login name on the internet, right under this is your password and right under this is your Internet-Key!
it´s looking like this: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXX

Use the notepad.exe in windows directory or you can open it in MS Word if you select all files (*.*) in the listbox

You can retrieve your serial:

Press Start Menu and select Run...
Type in "regedit" without quotes
press enter
select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Nadeo\TrackMania\ or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Nadeo\TrackMania I'm not sure you should check both.
Here you will find you CD key
